Makeover Master: Home Design is an entertaining casual game where players control a team of interior designers assigned the task of making over and giving a luxury finish to a dilapidated apartment in a large city.
Just like in the majority of games of this genre, to get enough money for furniture, floors, paint and decorations, you have to solve puzzles. However, this isn't the classic match-3 game. Instead, you have to solve puzzles that are more like Mahjong or Tile Master. So, in each level, you will see a screen full of all kinds of objects: teapots, suitcases, cups, lamps, furniture... The idea is to match the objects in threes until you get rid of them all. When matching the objects in threes, it is important to remember that the space where you match them is limited. So, every time you tap on an object, it will move to the side of the screen, where you can accumulate a maximum of seven objects. The idea is to group three objects together to free up those three cells and keep tapping objects until you create new groups of three. You need to be strategic to do this. Don't tap on the objects randomly, but instead, look for those that will unlock the objects that are waiting in the cells at the bottom.
With the money you get from solving these puzzles, you can get started on making over each house. Just like in other similar games, Makeover Master: Home Design has three options for each new decorative item, letting you create more or less unique combinations and customize each house with your own style. What's more, all the items in the house have that rich luxury look which the apartment owners are looking for.
Makeover Master: Home Design is a good puzzle and decoration game that brings something new to an over-explored genre: the puzzle gameplay. What's more, the graphics have been carefully designed down to the last detail.
